The label’s name Maggie Angus plays homage to designer - Anna Hickman-Evans' - Scottish grandmother, who was an avid jewellery junkie and all round stylish lady. Anna studied Art and Design for many years including at the University of Edinburgh and is no stranger to the world of fashion as it was after working in London at ELLE and Red fashion magazines that she fully established Maggieangus.com in 2010. Her fresh approach to jewellery design is unmistakably British in style, which has quickly gained Maggie Angus fans all over the world.
